THE BEST CUPCAKES!

Crumbs bakery in manhattan...yum...yum...yum! The Red Velvet is to die for. The nursing staff at my job were given these as a gift from a patient's family and they were the best.

The Most SUPER-Supermarket Ever...Wegman's!

Train sets, indian and asian hot food bars, $6 prepared dinners...and any food item your hungry heart desires! Yesterday I had my first Wegman's "experience" and oh boy was I in heaven! Not only were there isles and endless isles of everything delicious from specialty cheeses to fresh baked breads (which they will gladly slice for you), there were also kosher, vegetarian, seafood and dessert counters that will make your mouth water. I think I tried just about everything on the hot food bar (which was extensive) and everything was fresh and delicious. There was even an upstairs with plenty of tables and chairs (and microwaves!) where you can enjoy your prepared meals and look out over the shoppers down below. Fabulous!

New Salad Favorites!

Just wanted to share a few of my new favorite salad fixings! LOVE LOVE LOVE bleu cheese vinaigrette! Dee-lish! After we came home from DC lastnight we just wanted something quick to fill us up, so we went out to the store for salad supplies...lol. I tried a few new things such as the dressing and dried cranberries with glazed walnuts. This salad was definitely a winner with myself...and the kid! :-)

The Spy Dog Cafe

International Spy Museum was great! After taking in all the cool sights of the museum, it was chow time. There were two restaurants located in the museum and we decided on The Spy Dog Cafe...not impressed. The kid ordered the American Grilled Cheese and I ordered a pastrami and swiss on rye, two fountain drinks....the bill was 18 bucks. Not only was it overpriced but it really wasn't worth it. The food was "ok" and there really wasn't much to choose from. I think we'll try Zola's next time we visit The Spy museum.

Fun At Honey Pig!

Honey Pig was delicious and lots of fun! It's wonderful to have such a diverse group of friends and co-workers. We had a great time yesterday and the food, service and atmosphere was excellent! It also may have been a plus that we had someone with us who is Korean and was able to recommend the foods that we might like since it was all authentic Korean cuisine. We decided everyone would order something different and then we shared around the table and split the bill equally between the 5 of us. That turned out to be an incredible idea because we were all able to try a variety of different foods and the portions were enormous! At the end, we were also pleased with the bill...for all 5 of us we only ended up paying around $18 (tax and tip included). We had a blast!

Going To Honey Pig!

So excited to try out a new Korean spot near my house called Honey Pig! Me and a couple of my co-workers (one being Korean)decided to check it out after work today. I'll post pictures afterwards and let you know how it was. I ate a boring breakfast of Raisin Bran and an iced coffee. It's almost lunchtime but I'm thinking i'll just get something light (most likely a salad) since i'll be going out right after work. See ya after Honey Pig!

Welcome To Mo Eats!

Dinner lastnight was quick and light. After such a long day at work and a late evening walk on the beach I really wasn't in the mood to cook anything spectacular, so we just had some baked frozen fish, steamfresh veggies (asparagus, gold&white corn and baby carrots), along with some broccoli alfredo pasta. The kid loved it and I loved that it only took 20 minutes.
